Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore is a seven-week study rich in the history of Jewish people and their several annual pilgrimages to Jerusalem. Beth links our personal pilgrimage to these images and draws us deeper into healing and wholeness through Psalm 120-134. Children’s programs and child care provided.  Rob Schenck has been a Christian since 1974. Raised in a Jewish home, he came to Christ as a teenager and immediately pursued a call to ministry. He attended Buffalo (New York) School of the Bible (associated with one of the largest and most influential churches in Western New York), Elim Bible Institute (one of America's oldest continuous ministerial training colleges in the US) and Faith Evangelical Seminary. Ordained in 1982, Rob is affiliated with the Evangelical Church Alliance based in Bradley, IL. He began his ministry as a counselor for young men trapped in drug and alcohol abuse. Later he served as a youth pastor, minister of Evangelism and new church planting pastor. Rob has traveled extensively, preaching in more than 40 countries. Since 1994, he has served as President and co-founder of Faith and Action, a Christian outreach to elected and appointed officials in Washington, DC. As a highly sought after cultural observer, Rob uses exceptional story-telling ability, powerful public-speaking skills and a remarkable sense of humor to provide profound insights into the challenging moral issues that confront our nation.
